Head of Asset Management
AVA are supporting a rapidly growing renewables IPP who due to organic growth are looking for an Head of Asset Management to build out their function and take point on their portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Build the in house commercial asset management team
- Leading the active management portfolio of onshore wind, solar PV and battery storage projects across Europe
- Stakeholder management across internal and external service providers including regular communication and asset alignments
- Coordination of budgets, plannings, and compliance for all relevant project contracts
- Assist in company portfolio growth and develop Asset Management systems, process and tools to support and streamline process
Experience
- Minimum 6 + years’ Asset Management, Operations or Engineering experience, ideally gained from within the Renewables sector
- Fluent in English and German
- A thorough understanding of energy markets across Europe and the overall project management of renewable energy assets
- Experience with technical monitoring platforms
- Proven commercial awareness and experience managing contracts and vendors in the renewable industry
