Position Overview

The Multifonds Fund Accounting Release Management Specialist is responsible for coordinating, planning, and delivering software releases, patches, and configuration updates in the Multifonds platform for fund accounting operations.

The role ensures that all releases are successfully tested, documented, and deployed while maintaining system stability, regulatory compliance, and alignment with business requirements.

You will work closely with IT, fund accountants, product owners, and external vendors to guarantee seamless operational readiness and continuous improvement of the platform.

Key Responsibilities Release

Management

  • Lead the end-to-end Multifonds release cycle, including planning, scheduling, documentation, and deployment.
  • Coordinate with vendor teams (Temenos / Multifonds) to track release notes, impact assessments, bug fixes, patches, and hotfixes.
  • Define and maintain the release calendar, ensuring efficient sequencing of enhancements and regulatory updates.
  • Ensure releases are delivered on time, within scope, and with minimal disruption to business users.

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Oversee functional and regression testing for all releases, upgrades, and configuration changes.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts, test cases, and acceptance criteria aligned with Multifonds functionalities.
  • Coordinate UAT with fund accounting teams and ensure sign-off before deployment.
  • Conduct post-release reviews and root cause analyses for defects or incidents.

    • Fund Accounting Functional Expertise

  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on Multifonds Fund Accounting modules (NAV calculations, valuations, corporate actions, expenses, reconciliation flows, etc.).
  • Analyze system behavior and propose improvements or enhancements aligned with business needs.
  • Support operational teams by troubleshooting issues related to system configuration or release impacts.

    • Change and Configuration Management

  • Manage configuration changes, parameter updates, instrument set-ups, and workflow adjustments.
  • Ensure full alignment with change management controls, including documentation, validation, and approvals.
  • Maintain configuration repositories and support audit / compliance requirements.

    • Stakeholder and Vendor Coordination

  • Act as the primary liaison between business teams, IT, vendors, and project managers.
  • Communicate release content, timelines, risks, and impacts to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate workshops, release briefings, and training sessions when required.

    • Risks Control

  • Identify release-related risks, dependencies, and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements (UCITS, local regulations).
  • Track and document incidents and change requests in accordance with governance standards.

    • Skills and Qualifications

    Required

  • Solid Experience working with Temenos Multifonds Fund Accounting .
  • Strong understanding of NAV production, valuation processes, pricing, corporate actions, and fund accounting workflows.
  • Proven experience in release management , change management , or system implementation roles.
  • Ability to analyse functional requirements and translate them into testing and configuration tasks.
  • Strong documentation and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business audiences.

    • Preferred

  • Experience in asset management , fund administration , custody , or investment operations.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or structured change control frameworks.
  • Exposure to SQL, data extraction or report configuration tools.
  • Experience coordinating vendor-led system upgrades or large-scale migrations.

  • Structured and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across departments.
  • Comfortable managing multiple releases and priorities concurrently.
