Let's connect : If you want to experience how things are done in the Technical Underwriting team team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as an  Actuary / Mathematician / Property Casualty .

You can look forward to

  • Automating underwriting processes and developing AI applications in underwriting
  • Optimising data analyses of claims
  • Performing portfolio analyses and establishing suitable quotation parameters
  • Supporting external data pools and developing / refining tools for the analysis of motor third party liability reinsurance
  • Creating and further developing well-founded tools for motor TPL analysis, and also NatCat risks as needed

You come equipped with

  • Completed Master’s degree in (business) mathematics, physics or a comparable field of study
  • At least 2 years of experience in the (re)insurance industry, ideally with a focus on property and casualty insurance
  • Solid knowledge of data analytics and programming skills, in R or Python
  • Trained as an actuary – or interest in taking such training
  • Strong powers of communication coupled with proficient user skills in German and at least independent user skills in English
  • Keen analytical abilities and individual initiative
  • An international mindset and a willingness to go on international business trips, roughly three or four times a year
