Position : Clinical Supply Chain Manager

Location : Düsseldorf, Germany (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Reports to : Director of Supply Chain

Team Size : 3 Direct Reports

Role Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Supply Chain Manager to join our dynamic team at our Düsseldorf site. This role will be integral to managing and overseeing the end-to-end clinical supply chain processes, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of clinical trial materials. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain , you will lead a team of 3 direct reports and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align supply chain operations with clinical development needs.

As a Clinical Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for streamlining processes, managing inventory, overseeing procurement, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements to support ongoing and future clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a team of 3 direct reports, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and alignment with clinical supply goals.
Supply Chain Management : Oversee all aspects of clinical supply chain operations, including sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and distribution of clinical trial materials.
Operational Excellence : Drive efficiencies and improve processes to ensure timely delivery of clinical trial materials, aligning with clinical trial timelines and objectives.
Collaboration : Work closely with clinical operations, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of supply chain activities.
Regulatory Compliance : Ensure all supply chain activities comply with relevant regulatory standards (GMP, GDP) and internal company policies.
Forecasting & Planning : Monitor demand and supply requirements for clinical trials, optimizing inventory levels and managing stock to avoid shortages or excesses.

Qualifications & Experience :

Experience : Minimum of 5 years in clinical supply chain management , ideally within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.

Leadership Skills : Proven experience leading a team and driving operational success in a clinical supply chain environment.

Knowledge : Strong understanding of GMP , GDP , and other regulatory standards for clinical supply chains.

Education : A degree in Supply Chain Management , Life Sciences , or related field is preferred.
