About the Company :

Its product lineup is ideal for DIY or home repairs. Their other brand, specialises in skincare products designed to heal and hydrate extremely dry, cracked skin. Their non-greasy, fast-absorbing creams and balms are highly effective, especially for people exposed to harsh conditions such as manual labourers' and healthcare workers.
Location and Work Model :
This is an on-site role based in Heusenstamm, right by Frankfurt. My client's offices are a few hundred meters away from Heusenstamm's S-Bahn station.
About the role :
Reporting to the Finance Director Europe you will be responsible for aiding the business to make strategic and operational commercial decisions.
Your input will be key in driving the profitability of European's operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for Europe (excl. UK)
- Maximize sales profitability throughout the region
- Work with internal stakeholders to collate data and information, analyse datasets and report out the key business performance and summaries
- Identify sales and market trends and provide key reports to support the commercial decision-making process
- Build data models to help aid business decisions
- Works closely with Sales teams on sales analysis and account strategies
- Involvement in company Cost Price Increase strategies / initiatives
- Championing change management, driving improvements to financial accountability across all divisions, identifying and contributing to business improvement opportunities
- Regular liaison with UK & US Teams to benchmark Best In Class ways of working, presenting, etc and share relevant data as appropriate
Requirements & Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Accountancy related subject preferred with relevant experienceStrong Analytic skill set with the ability to provide actionable recommendations based on critical metricsStrong teamwork; able to effectively participate and motivate others working within a team environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills (both German and English)Able to present information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences, including executive level and customersShould be goal oriented, confident, and able to succeed under pressure within a competitive environmentPower user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Database applications, etc)Proven strong financial and analytical skills to model and quantify impacts of assumptions and eventsAbility to manage multiple projects concurrentlyAbility to act proactively, independently, and decisively to quickly assess needs and identify logical solutionsAbility to think and act strategicallyCross / multi-functional understanding of industry, company, and products to enable identification of assumptions and events, and qualification of related risks and opportunities
