Our research group at TUM University Hospital is looking for a motivated student assistant (HiWi) to support projects in cardiac gene editing and molecular biology.
Your tasks will include: - Performing cryo-tissue sectioning using the cryostat - Assisting with tissue processing for downstream applications (DNA/RNA/protein isolation, histology, immunostaining) - Documentation and organization of samples and laboratory work - General support in ongoing experiments
Your profile: - Enrolled student in Biology, Biochemistry, Medicine or related field - Interest in molecular biology, histology or cardiovascular research - Laboratory experience in tissue handling or cryo-sectioning is an advantage (training will be provided) - Good English-speaking skills (German is an advantage but not required)
We offer: - terminated contract (at least 6-month period required) - hourly compensation (hourly wages: 14€ for Bachelor students, 15,80€ for Master students) - flexible working hours
