Data Management Consultant

Aufgaben

Support the development of a comprehensive data strategy that lays the foundation for the industrialization of analytics and AI use cases and innovation in business models.

Establish and enforce a data governance framework in close cooperation with the master data management team, ensuring that our FAIR principle (findable, accurate, integrated, reusable) is applied.

Design and implement an effective operating model for data management, detailing the organizational structure and roles (data owner, data steward) at divisional, regional, and central levels.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration between business units, the data management team, and other roles in the company, i.e., data scientists, data analysts, enterprise architects and master data managers.

Promote the development of data competencies and skills within departments through targeted training and development programs.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, information technology, computer science, or a comparable qualification

Several years (>

4 years) of experience in data management, particularly in data governance and organizational setup

Excellent knowledge of developing and implementing data policies and standards

Strong communication (German and English) and stakeholder management skills

Experience in promoting a data-driven culture and building data competencies within an organization
