A Japanese global logistics company is currently recruiting a Logistics Officer to join their office near Amsterdam.
The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating and supporting the efficient operations of the logistics office as well as managing customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfilment, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.
This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (compliance, sales, forwarding depts, transport hauliers and customers.
TYPE : 7 months contract, full-time (There is potential to become permanent)
WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday, flexible, Core times 9 : 00 – 16 : 30 (8 hours + 30 minutes break)
SALARY : €2,500 – 3,200 per month, depending on experience, plus good benefits

Logistics Officer Main Responsibilities :
- Order fulfilment : Monitor the progress of customer orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery
- Coordinate with warehouse staff, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. Serve as a point of contact for customers, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor
- Maintaining warehouse inventory and availability of the account which is being handled by using the WMS
- Administrative Tasks : Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, managing electronic databases, and maintaining accurate records. Support the logistics office with various administrative tasks as needed
