Quality Manager (m / w / d) - DE
We are looking for a passionate Quality Manager who will be responsible for managing a production team that is focused on the delivery of zero-defect products to our customers.
The Quality Manager is the quality expert that will communicate and execute the quality vision and strategy of the Group. In this role, the Quality Manager will work both independently and with his direct reports, along with the other departments, to ensure the conformity of the products we manufacture with the costomer’s specifications and requirements.
In addition, the Quality Manager will define and implement quality improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the point of contact for internal and external customers
- Focus on customers and provide, in a timely manner, feedback for Quality Improvement.
- Lead Quality initiatives
- Maintain internal and external Quality Certifications
- Define and implement quality plans to meet product standards and certification requirements.
- Conduct internal quality audit
- Work with internal and external suppliers to improve the quality of products
- Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
- Work to improve processes and reduce costs by eliminating non value-added activities.
- Lead cross -functional teams to contain product quality issues and drive root cause corrective action to ensure the defect does not happen again.
QUALIFICATIONS
Engineering degree (welding engineer is a plus)Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated leadership skillsStop-to-fix mindsetUnderstanding of ISO requirementsExcellent knowledge of lean BIQ philosophyExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent understanding of fabrications – Machining, Welding, Assembly and Painting functionsUnderstanding of APQP principlesGood communication, interpersonal & teamwork skillsAbility to work with a diverse group of employees and customersAbility to analyze data and create reportsExperience with operating Metrology Equipment.Fluently speaking German and EnglishBe pro-activeDriven by resultsOFFER
