Senior Sales Manager - B2B Food Ingredients
Role : Area Sales Manager - DACH.
Location : Germany - Hybrid.
Spencer Riley is collaborating with a global food ingredient provider and we are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as Business Development Manager - DACH, focused on cultivating new business opportunities.
This exciting opportunity is based in Germany.
Responsibilities :
- Development and implementation of area sales strategy.
- Preparation of go-to-market plan and implementation with the area sales team.
- Leverage the Business Development / Product Management functions and set detailed category plans for each subregion in the area.
Plans to be aligned with Area Strategic Plan.
- Coordinate efforts to develop and deliver sales presentations to clients and customers that highlight sales accomplishments and areas of opportunity.
- Making sure claim and deductions are promptly handled. Facilitate resolution with the manufacturers and customer as needed.
- Use key tools available to support commercial excellence.
- Identify innovation projects capable of growing sales in the area and work closely with R&D to ensure development of core organisational capabilities to take to market.
- Expected to provide leadership of the collaboration between the commercial teams.
- Attend and participate in trade shows.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 6 years in B2B Food ingredient sales is essential.
- Fluent in German and English is essential.
- Strong experience selling into the nutrition & confectionery industry is preferred.
- Degree in Food Technology or science is preferred.
- Experience selling to and existing relationship with dealers and distributors.
