About thejob

As a Senior Software Engineer,you’ll work on our in-house created package ‘Miles’, an ERPsoftware for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobilitymanagement. This end-to-end solution encompasses front-, mid-, andback-office functions that can be extensively customized to thecustomers’ needs through configuration and customdevelopment.

You’ll be part of amultidisciplinary team containing other developers, businessconsultants, and testers, covering our end-to-end business flow.This means you can rely on a very broad base of knowledge andexpertise. Every team in Sofico works in an agile way, includingscrum, daily stand-ups, and backlog refinement. Besides that,you’ll also be joining our development community which connects allthe Software Engineers within Sofico worldwide. To learn from eachother by sharing best practices, codes, tips, and tricks is what weare striving for. The focus in this role will be on backenddevelopment.

Being a Software Engineerat Sofico entails thatyou’ll :

• Work with Java17.
• Analyze code and create technical solutiondesigns based on functional analysis.
• Play animportant role in building and rolling out solutions, both withinthe company and to our customers.
• Either workon improving the current application, developing new modules, orimplementing a customization project for one of thecustomers.
• Confer with business consultants,analysts, and testers about business needs, bugs, and soon.
