Simulation Engineer Occupant Safety (m/f/d)

What to expect:

For our team in Ingolstadt, we are currently looking for energetic support in the area of occupant protection. Within the scope of this job, the following tasks await you:

• Independent development of load case specific calculation models
• Execution of crash tests and interpretation of the results
• Development of optimization proposals for restraint systems in consultation with the team
• Creation of presentations, documentations and communication of results in customer committees
• Coordination with colleagues from the body and interior development department

What you bring along:

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification with specialization in simulation and FEM analysis
• 3+ years simulation and development experiences in the field of occupant safety
• Expertise of FEM tools and relevant simulation software tools ANSA, LS-DYNA or PAM-CRASH
• Independent and structured way of working, as well as analytical way of thinking and reliability
• High level of commitment, communication skills and service mindset
• Fluent in German and English
