We are looking for a Junior Commercial Planning Manager (all genders) to act as one of the main analytical drivers to ensure the data-driven planning of our commercial operations.

Working cross-collaboratively, you will continuously develop and innovate our analytical tools to support commercial success, while working in a number-driven, challenging and ambitious working environment.

Your role

• Collaborating with the team and various departments including; marketing, fulfillment and assortment to define short and long-term commercial targets and contributing to sales planning efforts for all markets
• Participating in the planning cycle and implementation of commercial strategies and company budgets. Engaging with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution
• Conduct regular analysis of sales performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), and relevant metrics to assess the success of commercial strategies.

Providing actionable insights and recommendations to optimize performance to C-level executives

• Work with large sets of data to extract meaningful insights and trends. Using SQL to query databases for extracting, transforming, and analyzing data relevant to commercial planning and analysis
• Contribute to the planning process by bringing fresh perspectives and ideas, actively participating in the development of basic tools and processes with our data analytics team
• Monitoring daily business performance, identifying deviations, and assisting in providing strategic recommendations to address performance gaps.

Analyzing the effectiveness of onsite campaigns and assisting in making data-driven recommendations for future initiatives

• Visualize data and create compelling presentation slides, translating complex data insights into clear and impactful messages for stakeholders and executive leadership
• Conducting ad hoc inquiries and special analyses, providing valuable insights contributing to the decision-making process.

Your profile

• At least three years of work experience in consumer-oriented commercial, financial or highly analytical role in an ecommerce company
• Previous experience in business planning and a good understanding of the P&L structure in ecommerce or retail is a must
• Degree in business administration, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a comparable course of studies with a focus on data processing.
• Good communication skills & fluency in English; German would be a plus
• Previous experience in tools such as Microsoft office / G-Suite, SQL and Tableau (or any other data visualization tool)
• Strong analytical skills paired with very detail-oriented working methods
