We are looking for an enthusiastic
Full Stack Developer (f / m / x)
Job description
- Full stack development within the INFRAFRONTIER informatics infrastructure together with other members of the team
- Ensuring database and web application security, performance and service availability
- Expanding MySQL database schema, user interfaces and SolrCores to record and provide research data from new services added to the INFRAFRONTIER portfolio
- Maintenance and further development of the WordPress based web portal together with external web design company
- Cloud deployment of INFRAFRONTIER software products
- Working together with international collaborators
Your qualifications
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related discipline and at least three years of work experienceSubstantial experience with virtual server management (ideally Ubuntu Linux) and basic networking skillsProficiency in Java web programming technologies and frameworks (e.g. Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, JavaScript, Vaadin)Working knowledge of build automation and scripting languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Perl and shell scripting)Experience with Jira and Git appreciatedStructured working style and ability to solve problems effectively in a team and on your ownOur offer
