Senior System Consultant Scheduler (m / w / d)

You will be part of a combined team of Merck and an external service provider that is responsible for process automation.Your tasks will includeall areas of Automic / UC4 system administration (installation, configuration, performance tuning, disaster recovery planning / testing, life cycle management etc.),design of complex scheduling processes (incl. scripting),support of operational activities (monitoring, scheduling, ticket handling etc.),consultancy to application teamsand problem analysis and resolution in all of these areas. Who you are : University degree in computer science or comparable expertise / experience.Minimum of 3+ years working experience in Automic / UC4 administration.Automic / UC4 scripting experience is an advantage.Solid UNIX / LINUX operating system skills and database skills; Windows server skills are an advantage.Disciplined to work in compliance and GxP-regulated landscapes.ITIL knowledge, related certification is an advantage.Flexibility to work off hours and provide on-call support for critical business processes and projects.Solid written and oral communication skills in English, and the German language is a plus.You are a self-motivated person with a strong mix of technical and communication skills and the ability to get things done.You can methodically analyze and resolve issues as well as help driving success as part of an international team.You are well-organized and can plan, schedule and coordinate work assignments to meet agreed target dates.
