The Role

Senior Technical Solution Manager

As a Senior Technical Solution Manager, you will play an important role in the development of service solutions in sales for German and international customers.

You will lead a team of technical specialists and be responsible for all technical aspects of the solution offered.

Your tasks in detail :

As Senior Technical Solution Manager, you will actively lead the technical proposal team and bring together the various sub-projects into a consistent solution :

• Responsible for a team of architects and technical presales, for the overall technical solution, and for meeting the deadlines which are relevant for the offer submission
• Close cooperation with the sales unit responsible for the commercial aspects of the offer
• Understanding customer requirements, translating these requirements into Kyndryl's proposed solution, and presenting the technical solution to the customer
• Developing the technical solution strategy and creating a profitable solution that meets the customer's requirements
• Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders : technical negotiations with the relevant business units and external business partners involved
• Minimize business risk by performing actions to mitigate any issues identified as potential risks of the future implementation project
• Contribute to the management of the customer relationship during the technical proposal process
• Understanding customer needs, identifying the business potential for Kyndryl in the customer environment, and translating this into the planned Kyndryl solution
• Collaborate with the customer's management and technical staff to successfully sell Kyndryl's solution and match its benefits with the customer's needs

Who You Are

Job Qualifications

• Work experience of at least 7 years
• Existing Architect Level Certificates in the areas of Hyperscaler, Network, Digital Workplace, or Security
• Sound knowledge of market developments (competition, technology, industry trends)
• Project management skills and several years of proven experience in corresponding projects
• Practical experience in Transition and Transformation projects
• Sales and negotiation experience and skills, ability to work in a team, and agile working style
• Fluency in German and English language
• Required education Bachelor's degree; preferred education Master's degree
