Looking for an Ad Creative Strategist to join our team! As our creative head, you will be responsible for the ideation, scripting, planning, and managing of the entire creative process with a big focus on UGC ads and psychology-based creatives to be used across paid marketing channels.

Required : 3 to 5+ years of experience with E-Com Advertising. As well, we are looking for candidates with prior experience in creating paid advertisements specifically for DTC E-Commerce brands, performance creative, direct response marketing principles, understanding how to iterate on creatives based on data, and a big bonus if you have UGC ad experience!

Key Objectives :

  • Manage the full creative process (from scripting all the way to final creative) in order to produce the creative assets our media buyer needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Find, manage, and source new content to be used across all marketing channels.
  • Drive measurable improvements in core advertising metrics across digital channels with improved creatives.
  • Script UGC Direct response creatives.
  • Use data from creative performance on marketing channels to dissect, analyze, and improve upon our creatives to continuously improve performance across our creatives.
  • Work with our marketing team to come up with new creative concepts and ideas.
  • Conduct strategic customer and competitor research to better optimize creative efforts.
  • Provide creative reports on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements :

  • Fully remote.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience with performance creative for DTC eCommerce specifically is a massive asset.
  • You are intimately familiar with the tactical side of producing excellent creative across a variety of mediums. This means you understand what it takes to produce excellent photos and videos for eCommerce paid and organic marketing channels (specifically Facebook & Instagram).
  • A deep understanding of how to interpret digital advertising performance. You know what phrases like Thumbstop, CTR, CVR, and CPC mean.
  • Are able to provide references as requested. We do not want to waste your time or ours with a potential mishire. Our interview process is detailed & thorough.
  • No issue working overtime or on the weekends if needed. You wouldn’t know what to do with your free time if you were working less. You are passionate about your work.

  • Basic psychology-based copywriting skills.
  • Examples of What You’ll Be Doing :

  • Producing video ads, end-to-end, to be run across Facebook, and other digital channels.
  • Sourcing and allocating budget into UGC creators and other creative agencies on an as-needed basis.
  • Scripting, planning, briefing, and project managing video and photo ads.
  • Conducting competitor and customer research to better understand how to tailor our creatives to our customers.
  • Build processes behind how our creative strategy works and turning it into a repeatable process at our company.
  • How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate :

  • When hiring, we’ll work with you to define the KPIs you’ll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you’re doing a good job after you start.
  • Initial soft interview, then a long-form live technical interview with the current head of marketing. We plan to hire within ~8–10 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
  • For this specific role, we will walk you through the long-term vision and opportunities that have us excited about this business – and how you fit in. We will show you our current structure and where we are headed!
  • Compensation :

  • Base pay : $48,000 USD to $60,000 USD per year.
  • This position is eligible for our 100% bonus program. This means you would be eligible for up to 100% of your salary in quarterly bonuses tied to meeting specific performance goals.
