Fiber Solution Manager
We are searching for a Fiber Solution Manager at our HANNOVER (DE01) facility.
FiberSolution Manager EMEA / Business Development in the FTTx domain.
Key
Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close business opportunities for FTTx solutions, including fiber optic cables, connectivity products, and network infrastructure.
Develop tailored proposals and value-based sales pitches for telecom operators and vertical markets (Transportation, industrial, Energy, ect.) ISPs, municipalities, and alternative network providers.
Promote FTTx services through presentations, product demonstrations, and other sales activities, highlighting the benefits of high-speed connectivity.
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline and deliver accurate forecasts.
Achieve or exceed annual sales targets and margin objectives.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on fiber network rollout strategies, technology choices, and cost-optimization.
Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activity in the Central Europe FTTx sector.
Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
Co-operation with product line management, technical support, R&D, supply chain, quality and customer service team
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, technical support) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Regular reporting to BU Cables global product line management.
Co-operation with other RFS sales regions, global key account management
Master or bachelor of RF or Electronics engineering, alternative a minimum 3-year professional training plus additional technician degree successfully completed
Work experience in optical communications, networking, or related telecom industries (, FTTx, data center)
Minimum 7-10 years of job experience in the FTTx Domain
Proven track record of winning large-scale broadband projects in Germany.
Responsibility, teamwork, and quality awareness with strong customer focus
Learning ability, technical understanding, communication and coordination skills
Fluent German and English in writing and speaking
IT : SAP, MS Office, Salesforce
High creativity, High flexibility and competency in problem solving
Willingness to travel for customer visits or trade shows
