Ihre Aufgaben
- Ensure the safe execution of projects within timeframe and budget as per the contract, on behalf of the project manager
- Ensure compliance with local systems, contracts, and internal guidelines, including QHSE
- Oversee overall site execution and safety, optimizing all site activities for progress and cost efficiency
- Source competent resources (personnel and tools) for all site works
- Prepare and facilitate the final handover to the service organization and customer
- Plan and oversee daily, weekly, and project-specific site work, managing all on-site activities for all stakeholders
- Conduct daily meetings with site-related teams, subcontractors, HSE, civil, cranes, and transport
- Oversee and coordinate material supply, WTG installation, and commissioning, ensuring efficient progress
- Establish, monitor, and document overall risks and opportunities, implementing risk mitigation actions
- Recommend technical solutions and oversee technical changes with the technical responsible and project manager
- Ensure ongoing knowledge sharing, managing interfaces with customers, subcontractors, and other parties
- Verify subcontractor tools and calibration certificates, coordinating 3rd party inspections
- Address technical issues, non-conformities, and escalate disputes on booked amounts for settlement or arbitration if necessary
- In Germany, assume the role of "Fachbauleiter" (designated Construction Site Manager) on the Project Manager's behalf
Ihre Qualifikationen
- You should be an experienced leader with a proven track record in large international construction projects, capable of guiding and setting clear expectations for your team
- Previous experience as a Site Manager on wind turbine projects, with in-depth technical knowledge of wind turbine products and logistics.
An electrical background is preferable, and you should be nominated as an Electrical Skilled Person according to EN-50110-1
- University degree in a relevant subject and / or over 6 years of professional experience in the wind industry, including 2+ years in a similar role
- Fluent in English and German, both verbally and written. Additional languages are a plus.
- You should have the ability to identify risks, solid knowledge of QA and EHS processes, and set high standards for health, safety, and environment
- You should be solution-oriented, capable of handling conflicts, a team player, self-driven, motivated, and disciplined in following corporate and local regulations
- Driver's License : Valid car driver's license for the project country
