We are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to start immediately with deep experience in Web3 and Internet culture . This role will be foundational for our social media department. This team player will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing social media content strategies, content calendars, and staying on top of community interactions on X & Farcaster.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Gain a deep understanding of the company’s current, goals and transform our needs into a social strategy across channels like Twitter / X and Farcaster
  • Manage social media channels, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement - with both a mixture of evergreen and reactive content
  • Work closely with the content department to determine what creative support (static, video, GIF) is needed to achieve goals
  • Social listening : Be our eyes and ears on social media, spotting emerging themes and narratives
  • Monitor social media performance metrics and provide insights for optimization and improvement. Report and evaluate metrics such as follower growth, impressions / reach, engagement rate and use data to inform new strategies
  • Stay up-to-date on trends in the crypto market, on-chain social, and wider economic space. Continually be on the lookout for new social media campaign ideas, strategies and tactics that could help take results to the next level

Requirements

  • Actively managed social media for 1+ years either in a crypto project or web3 agency
  • Strong understanding and love of crypto culture, ideally you’re a "degen" who is in tune with what's happening in the market and the latest campaigns
  • Deep immersion and understanding across DeFi and blockchain infra, ecosystem trends
  • Strong understanding of web3 growth tactics such as community campaigns, airdrops, and web3 meme culture
  • Solid conflict resolution skillset
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English
  • Great interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proactive marketer willing to start and test new tactics

  • Startup background
  • Connected to other crypto networks, KOLs and communities
  • Experience being in DAOs and with governance proposals
  • Deep experience with social scheduling and social analytics tools (Buffer, Brand24, etc.)
  • Proficiency in analyzing data, Web3 growth tools, and other key social media analytics tools
