Key Responsibilities :
- Vendor Management : Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers for MRO, Capex, and services.
- Purchasing Activities : Ensure the timely procurement of goods and services, negotiating contracts and pricing to achieve cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Capex Procurement : Handle all procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Collaboration : Work closely with plant operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure that purchasing aligns with business requirements and compliance standards.
- Supplier Performance : Monitor supplier performance, addressing issues related to quality, delivery, and cost efficiency.
- Cost Optimization : Analyze market trends and procurement opportunities to generate savings and improve plant operations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in purchasing for MRO, Capex, and services within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement software and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
