Account Specialist

Due to expanding their business in Germany, we are recruiting an Account Specialist Vascular in the region of North / West Germany (NRW).
The primary purpose of this position is to serve the assigned customer base while driving sales and profitability for the vascular division.
This should be achieved by implementing the local sales and marketing strategy agreed with the vascular team.
Key responsibilities :
- Present the vascular product area to the assigned customers.
- Expand the business with a clear focus on the profitability of new and existing customers.
- Provides services to all relevant customer departments that distribute products within the vascular product portfolio to clinical and non-clinical customers.
- Explore, promote and establishe contacts with key clinical and non-clinical decision-makers.
- Ensure services are provided as contractually agreed.
- Search for and realise potential that exists with assigned customers.
- Works closely with Clinical Support Specialist and Commercial Business Manager.
- Meets or exceeds clinical and non-clinical goals set by management in collaboration with the team.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the vascular product range and the associated medical field.
- Track customer requirements and commitments.
- Monitor market share and activities of competitors in the assigned area.
- Participate in local and international exhibitions and conferences as and when required submit written reports to the Regional Business Manager.

- Willingness and availability to meet frequently with customers and other decision-makers.
- Willingness to make frequent business trips within assigned area.
- Medical sales experience preferred.
- Knowledge of products or procedures is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Good number-handling skills are an advantage.
- Evidence of problem-solving experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- High self-motivation.
