We seek a highly motivated and results-oriented Product Manager to lead our innovative product portfolio's strategic development and lifecycle management.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Software Product Management
- Take responsibility for managing our entire portfolio of image processing software.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and strategic positioning.
- Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies, licensing models, and pricing frameworks.
Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management
Define the software product roadmap aligned with market demands, company objectives, and technological advancements.Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation to market launch and eventual phase-out.Actively contribute to the overarching software strategy and collaborate with key stakeholders for successful implementation.Market and Customer Engagement
Identify and understand customer requirements to create tailored software solutions.Engage with customers and partners to gather insights and feedback for continuous improvement.Ensure clear positioning and messaging of software offerings in collaboration with marketing teams.Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams
Work closely with software development, R&D, and engineering teams to define product specifications and prioritize projects.Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to drive successful adoption and market penetration.Develop and deliver training for internal teams to enhance understanding of the software portfolio.Sales Enablement and Support
Create and maintain detailed product documentation, including technical guides, user manuals, and training materials.Support sales teams with presentations and product expertise during customer interactions and industry events.Monitoring and Reporting
Track and analyze product performance metrics to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.Minimum Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.Proficient in developing licensing and pricing models tailored to software products.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.Fluent in both German and English, capable of addressing international stakeholders confidently.Minimum Education & Experience
Educational Background
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional Experience
Extensive experience (at least 3 years of experience) in software product management, ideally within industrial automation, image processing, or related industries.Demonstrated success in bringing software products to market and managing complex product portfolios.
