Job Responsibilities

  • Creation of the system control software with Siemens TIA Portal
  • Configuration of the SCADA and the process visualization
  • Creation and optimization of standardized software packages
  • Manage the allocated project in technical belongings and prepare work packages for other engineers
  • Elaborate concepts and system specifications in collaboration with customers and technology
  • Oragnize and participate in internal and external project & specification meetings as well as factory acceptance tests of the software
  • Manage assigned budget, including costs, deadlines and quality
  • Provide technical support for claim and deviation management as needed
  • Cross-divisional cooperation with R&D, engineering and assembly

Qualifications

  • Completed technical studies in the field of electrical / software / automation engineering, mechatronics, or computer science
  • Alternatively, completed technical / commercial training as an electronics technician for automation technology or equivalent
  • Experience in industrial process automation with very good PLC programming skills in Siemens TIA Portal
  • Electrical engineering competency
  • Good knowledge of Windows-based IT environments
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills required, German skills are beneficial

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Committed, flexible and team-oriented personality
  • Willingness to travel worldwide approx. 30%
