Sales Manager

Salary : €50,000

Location : Dresden.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute strategic Sales Plans and initiatives to maximize profitability and achieve budget, revenue, and market share targets for the hotel.
  • Provide strategic revenue management plans, including rate development, group thresholds, space utilization policies, and deployment strategies based on competitive data, demand analysis, and market mix management.
  • Manage both proactive and reactive sales efforts of the property.
  • Propose innovative marketing ideas and assist in deployment strategies to grow market share continuously.
  • Maximize revenue contribution from major distribution channels, particularly GDS (Global Distribution Systems).
  • Participate in ownership meetings and presentations.
  • Coordinate communications for the property with brand management.

Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of computer accounting programs, mathematical skills, and budgetary analysis capabilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of sales skills and revenue management.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.

  • Participate in industry organizations to stay abreast of trends and best practices.
  • Maintain open communication between guests, employees, and management.
  • Input and retrieve information from computer systems for file maintenance, correspondence, and preparation of forecasts and marketing input.
  • Assist the office with any other administrative duties as needed.
  • Report to the General Manager and Management Company representatives.
