As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will playa central role in the success of the next generation of digitalsurgery products by bringing technical expertise and interpersonalskills to a sophisticated and fast-paced development team. • Develop test cases and test protocols to verify softwarefunctionality
• Champion efforts to improveutilization of automated test techniques in support of softwaredevelopment, build and release activities, and formaltesting
• Work closely with product developmentteams to build the list of failure modes and how those should betested
• Work with engineering and quality toensure the proper execution of the test protocols and help ensure aquality product is produced
• Help define andrefine software design and test control practices
• Experiences and Qualifications
• Hands-on software testingexperience preferably with complex medical devices
• Experience in Python programming and scripting (e.g.,Bash)
• Knowledge of software architecture anduser interface automated testing
• Experiencewriting test protocols and decomposing sophisticated userinteractions into simple and clear instructions.
• Experience with software quality systems
• General knowledge in other subject areas, includingelectrical and mechanical engineering
• Abackground in system test and software engineeringprocesses
• Demonstrates excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
• B.Sc . in computer science orrelated field + 5 years of experience or  M.Sc . or PhD in computer scienceor related field + 3 years of experience
