We are looking for a highly skilled SAP FI / CO Inhouse Project Lead to join this innovative organization. This position offers a flexible work environment with 80% remote working , alongside an exciting opportunity to lead financial and controlling transformations in a global manufacturing context. Position Overview : As the SAP FI / CO Inhouse Project Lead, you will be responsible for driving the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules. Collaborating with finance stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners, you will ensure the successful execution of finance-related projects and contribute to continuous process improvements. Tasks Project Leadership : Lead SAP FI / CO projects, including implementations, upgrades, and system optimizations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Configuration and Customization : Design, configure, and customize SAP FI and CO modules to meet business requirements, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, asset accounting, cost center accounting, and profitability analysis. Requirements Analysis : Work closely with finance teams to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate them into SAP solutions. Integration : Ensure seamless integration of SAP FI / CO with other SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, PP) and external systems. Process Optimization : Identify and implement opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting, and controlling capabilities. Support and Troubleshooting : Provide high-level support for SAP FI / CO, resolving technical and functional issues efficiently. Documentation and Training : Create comprehensive documentation and deliver user training sessions to ensure effective system use. Stakeholder Collaboration : Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing insights into SAP capabilities and recommending solutions to meet strategic goals. Profile Educational Background : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Professional Experience : Proven experience as an SAP FI / CO Consultant or Project Lead, ideally in the manufacturing industry. Technical Expertise : In-depth knowledge of SAP FI / CO modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP systems. Process Knowledge : Strong understanding of financial and controlling processes such as general ledger accounting, cost accounting, and profit center reporting. Project Management Skills : Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver on time and within budget. Communication Skills : Native or near-native English proficiency (C2 level) and excellent communication skills for interacting with global teams. Language Advantage : German language skills are beneficial but not mandatory. Remote Working : Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating with international teams.
