Working in the Finance department, you will play a key role in managing the financial and operational performance, while leading a team of business controlling and financial reporting experts.
You will play a vital role as we reimagine the labour market to make it work for everybody.
- Act as a strategic business partner to the German Sales and Customer Service Management team. You will manage the P / L with focus on contribution margins of the German GTM organization in alignment with the CSO Sales and the SVP Finance for EMEA; pro-actively delivering recommendations to improve sales and contribution margins
- You will be responsible for forecasting (espc sales and revenues) as well as meaningful reporting of day-to-day operations (incl sales activities) up to strategic decision making (market and competition)
- Oversee the operational controlling of sales and service departments with a strong focus on business processes, including owning the commission-related sales target setting processes.
- Ensure the accuracy of local books under local GAAP and the month-end, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, in alignment with Finance operations.
- Involve yourself in the definition of group standards for reporting and forecasting
- Lead a team of experts in business controlling and financial reporting, ensuring high performance and continued professional development within the team.
Qualifications
Multiple years of experience in operational controlling with strong emphasis on Sales and Service organizations and / or commercially focused Finance organizations.Understanding of local GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, with strong involvement in revenue recognition principles.Very good understanding of the business model and processes, in particular sales processesUsed to working in a fast-paced environment, closely aligned with operational management, with a strong understanding of the business model and processes.Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders, such as top management, sales management, sales reps, finance departments, auditors, data and tech teams.Hands-on mentality and attention to detail paired with a good understanding of CRM and Finance systems; proficiency in Salesforce, Power BI, Certinia, or TM1 is a plus.Strong communication skills in German and English.Additional Information
