Job Purpose

The Product Portfolio Director will be accountable forgenerating profitable and sustainable growth by leveraging his / herE2E accountability from need / idea to market launch through thesystem lifecycle to end-of-life.

YourMissions

  • Takeover of theglobal product portfolio Wiring Accessories and lead its ProductManagement team, being accountable for the success andprofitability in implementing common financial and non-financialgoals and mastering "product marketing" as a customer-centricapproach.
  • Orchestrate and motivate thecross-functional team managing and developing the portfolio withthe goal of implementing a high-performance organization andperformance-oriented culture. Set priorities and actively supportthe change process.
  • Develop a mid-termholistic portfolio strategy for the expansion of the business inline with group strategy and pivotal market area needs. Define andmanage the connectivity roadmap, integrating customer, product andsolution requirements, as well as standards, regulations andtechnological evolutions.
  • Create a uniquecustomer experience via reworking the current products and creatingspace for new innovative products and services which sets industrybenchmark and lays foundation also for recurrentrevenues.
  • Monitor the product lifecycle,prioritize and decide on all development requirements and defineand deliver the specific portfolio on time and reliably.
  • Initiate, support and monitor local sales activities toachieve common business goals and orchestrate the portfolio’sactivities with all adjacent functional areas.

Your Profile

  • Technical degree (electrical, electronics,computer science, industrial engineering) with deep experience indigital product management.
  • Strong knowledgein product life cycle management and customerorientation.
  • As an entrepreneurial andinternational manager, you are able to drive transformationprojects and work with cross-functional teams.
  • Convincing leader and innovator with a creative mindset,who has a positive attitude towards new ideas and challenges anddrives them forward with passion.
  • Excellentanalytical skills and strategic vision, ready to structureinitiatives.
