StellenbeschreibungState-of-the art shift planning and time / space-aware appointment scheduling algorithm with driving time optimizations Modern medicine inventory management One of the top pet health apps on the net Released almost every day by a small team of awesome people, enabled by smart automation Built on Laravel / PHP, React, React-Native and Go Powered by AWS, Lambda, Github, Docker and AI Plenty of room for advancement and a steep learning curve A customer-centric culture with a flat hierarchy and open communication A pet-friendly bring-your-own-dog office, central in Berlin-Moabit Help us redefine an entire industry by building the state of the art tools for veterinarians based on modern technologies Develop and maintain new features for our Core Backend, our website and our vet software Develop extensions of our service / technology, such as APIs or other integrations Augment existing engineering infrastructure Collaborate with us in person, working in Hybrid "2 days a week in office" mode 5+ years of software development experience Deep expertise in PHP (Laravel and its ecosystem) and MySQL Expertise with API development and integration as well as with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) Full-cycle software development experience, high standards with best practices including test automation (PHPUnit, Pest), static analysis, etc. Knowledge of software architecture principles (MVC, SOLID) Excellent cross-functional communication skills Ability and curiosity to understand a rather complex and wide business domain (digital veterinary practice) Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar technical field of study, or equivalent experience preferred Ability and desire to learn fast CI / CD experience Experience with React Web-tech start-up experience German language knowledge
