As a Managed Equipment Service Senior Manager, you will assist the Director of the Turn-Key Department with both internal and external-facing responsibilities, ranging from client and project management to administration.
You will lead internal, local, and project teams, develop and mentor junior staff, coordinate activities, manage tasks, and present solutions to clients.

A Day in the Life
- People management : provide professional leadership, motivation, supervision, and coordination of internal and local teams, providing guidance, advisory, support, and solutions.
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and review the work plan for assigned staff; assign work activities, projects, and programs; review and evaluate work products, methods, and procedures;
meet with staff to identify and resolve problems.
- Manage and participate in the preparation and review of a variety of reports, conduct studies, and prepare reports for current and long-range projects.
- Contribute to business development with the Business Development Teams, Senior Management Teams, IHS (Integrated Health Solutions) Capabilities and Functions, Medtronic Ous (organization units), as well as hospital stakeholders.
Identify and assist with growth opportunities to optimize the management of the equipment involved.
Manage the planning, procurement, installation, testing, training, and maintenance of capital equipment necessary for Hospital Solutions accounts EMEA-wide and beyond, for new and existing sites.
Ensure sharp project documentation and asset registration. End to End equipment life cycle management.
- Cost tracking, supplier management, and service contract management. Advise and prepare an equipment renewal plan.
- Provide professionalism and self-motivation to ensure high standards of care are achieved and an optimal service is realized.
Must Haves
- Biomedical Engineering or equivalent technical university degree
- Extensive experience in the equipment and medical sector (hospital) with experience in capital equipment planning, procurement, installation, and life cycle management
- Senior experience in people management in an international environment, as well as demonstrated experience managing project design, cost / budget, scope, schedule, and resources
- Experience in CathLabs (CLs) and Operation Rooms (ORs) environments and in technology assessing and planning for the diverse hospital departments
- Strong knowledge of the principles and techniques of carrying out healthcare facility assessments
- Strong customer focus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams
- Fluent English, both verbally and written, and working proficiency in the local language (German, Dutch)
- Software Skills : MS Office; MS Project
- Willingness to travel within EMEA (30 50%)
Nice to Haves
- Registration with a recognized Professional Board is highly desirable
- Certification in project management will be an advantage
- Experience in Turnkey hospitals is a plus
- Ability to work without very close supervision in a high-pressure environment
