About the job You will develop application level software controlling our BERT (bit error rate tester) and AWG (arbitrary waveform generator) instruments.

These instruments are widely used in research and development and enable the next generations of communication technologies.

About the team You will be part of a diverse team of hardware developers, FPGA designers, firmware and software engineers in order to create a full solution for our customers.

Qualifications Basic Qualifications BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering (or applicable engineering degree / experience) Experience working in an interdisciplinary team Experience with object-oriented programming languages (C#, C++) Demonstrated software development experience through entire project lifecycle Experience completing integrated hardware & software systems Experience in debugging hardware / software systems using an IDE like Visual Studio Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good English language skills (min.

B2 CEFR) Good German language skills (min. B2 CEFR) Desired Qualifications A minimum of 4 years relevant job experience or education beyond a bachelor’s degree Experience with XML files e.
