The Application Support Specialist (d / f / m) provideshigh-quality technical support and expert advice to customers usingour mass spectrometry products in Life Science Research, especiallyProteomics. You will enhance your knowledge through access tocutting-edge technology, assist customers in developing methods,attend technical conferences, interact with key opinion leaders,and actively participate in the Sciex ApplicationNetwork.

This position is partof the Central European (DACH) Support Organization and will belocated in Darmstadt, Germany and will be an on-siterole .

Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto :

Provideefficient and successful pre-sales support to Sales throughcustomer visits, product / application demonstrations,seminars / lectures / workshops and sampleanalysis

Provide post-salesSupport, in -house and on -site training, visiting customers andtelephone support in a timely and professional manner and byincreasing customersatisfaction

Gather, analyzeand deliver information from the field to local and European Sales& Marketing on competitive activity, market conditions andproduct opportunities to allow the Company to develop strategiesand products

Liaise withlocal, European and global network to solve customer problemsquickly and efficiently. Provide internal feedback on technicalproblems and input into new productfeatures

Travel across theEMEA region to drive customer engagement, provide onsite support,training, troubleshooting and technicalexpertise

Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :

Degree / PhDin chemistry, life sciences or equivalentexperience

Proven trackrecord in analytical chemistry : chromatographic and massspectrometry method development and troubleshooting, ideallyfocused on Proteomics Life ScienceResearch

Awareness ofHPLC-MS technologies and applications. Experience on SCIEX AccurateMass instrumentation isbeneficial

Fluent in Germanand good verbal and written English languageskills

Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / EnvironmentRequirements :

Abilityto travel – around 50% withinterritory

Must have a validdriver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

Excellentcommunication and presentationskills

Good organizationalskills and the ability toprioritize
