Evaluation of substances and formulations based on available scientific data according to EU CLP regulation and similar regulations worldwide.
Preparation of safety data sheets (SDS) and classification proposals for single substances as well as for final products according to EU CLP and GHS standard.
Monitoring upcoming developments under the EU Chemical Strategy for Sustainability in the area of hazard communication / classification & labelling and leading cross-functional implementation projects.
Quality control of SDS and other relevant data (internally & externally).
Support in the global rollout of the SDS software and in maintaining the database.
Knowledge about transport classification and labelling requirements.
Providing technical support & training on topics related to EU CLP regulation and hazard communication internally.
Communication to internal and external stakeholders globally.
Monitoring new developments in EU & global hazard communication and maintaining expert knowledge in that field.
Qualifications :
University degree in Chemistry, Biology, Agricultureor other relevant fields.
At least two years previous experience in topics related to EU CLP and / or GHS. Additional experience in EU REACH or similar regulations is a plus.
Communicative team player.
Good organizational skills and proactive work attitude.
Basic skills in project management.
Very good language skills in English (spoken and written) are a must, language skills in German are a plus.
