Nourishing lotions, mild shampoos, protective sunscreens. Gentle, environmentally friendly detergents and high-performance household and industrial cleaners - all these products contain ingredients made by our Care Chemicals division. Beyond that, we also offer, for example, solutions for plant protection, for technical applications in construction chemistry or raw materials for the coatings industry. We collaborate with our customers worldwide to develop innovative solutions which appeal to end-users and industrial formulators.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Our unit carries out formulation work for sun creams, cosmetics and personal care products, tests and analyzes them and documents the corresponding results. We are looking for you to join our team on a full-time basis as soon as possible.

As a laboratory technician, you will develop cosmetic formulations, including carrying out stability tests (pH, viscosity, microscopy).
You will also evaluate the properties of cosmetic formulations using various application tests (SPF in vitro, UVAPF, water resistance).
You will also prepare reports and laboratory protocols and document their test evaluations in English and German.

QUALIFICATIONS

successfully completed training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical-technical assistant or equivalent training

professional experience in the field of cosmetic end-user formulation is desirable

good knowledge of German and English
