Are you ready to dive into a dynamic team and give it your all? As a Sous Chef at the Munich Marriott Hotel, you’ll bring your passion for great food and creative cuisine to life at The Grapeful, the Bohemian Lounge & Bar, and the Champions Sports Bar. Working closely with our Executive Chef, Martin, and Executive Sous Chef, Mehmet, you’ll create culinary highlights—whether in the restaurant, at events, or in our bars. Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

  • Full responsibility for mise-en-place across all sections, including ordering supplies
  • Independently leading all sections while acting as the communication bridge between kitchen management and team members
  • Bringing your creativity to daily operations
  • Collaborating on concepts and workflows for events
  • Structuring diverse menus while considering allergens
  • Ensuring compliance with HACCP standards and Marriott guidelines
  • Training and onboarding new team members and apprentices, along with providing regular training sessions

    • What We’re Looking For :

  • A love and passion for international cuisine
  • Completed training as a chef
  • Several years of leadership experience
  • A strong guest-oriented approach
  • A team player attitude
  • Comprehensive and detailed knowledge of kitchen processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • English language skills are a plus
