Site Reliability Engineer (m / f / d)

At Best Secret, we are passionate about building software that solves problems. We rely on our Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) to empower our users with solutions that offer a rich feature set, high availability, and stellar performance to pursue their missions.
We are searching for someone who brings fresh ideas, a unique viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating within a cross-functional team to develop solutions for a positive user experience.
Your responsibilities
- Develop software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
- Actively shape, build, and continue our production environment while maintaining a holistic view of system health.
- Enhance the reliability and quality of our software solutions by automating deployments, dependency checks, updates, and more.
- Provide primary operational support and engineering expertise for distributed software solutions.
- Gather and analyse metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance services through rigorous testing and release procedures, as well as improve automation and / or introduce new automation / frameworks based on findings.
- Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning to create sustainable systems and services through automation and improvements.
Your qualification
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science or related disciplines.
- Proficient in coding (structured and OOP) using one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, C / C#, or Rust.
- Experience with distributed storage technologies as well as dynamic resource management frameworks.
- Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- As a person you are well structured and have an analytical and goal-oriented way of working.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and opinions to stakeholders.
