Your tasks

Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, physics or a comparable qualificationProfessional experience as a calculation engineer or simulation engineer, ideally in the maritime sectorStrong knowledge in the field of structural mechanics and structural dynamics, in particular numerical crash or shock simulationsGood knowledge of materials and production engineering as well as knowledge of rigid body simulation desirableConfident handling of MS-Office, advanced user knowledge of Linux, LS-DYNA, ANSA / META and, if applicable, MATLAB, COMSOL, STAR-CCM+ or Siemens NXGood written and spoken German and English skillsWillingness to perform safety checksAnalytical, proactive and independent way of working, confident, authoritative manner and very good teamwork and communication skills
