StellenbeschreibungDegree or equivalent experience in Automotive / Industrial Design, Modeling or Engineering Fluent in English - other languages are a plus 15+ years of work experience in automotive design context, preferably OEM Minimum 3 years of experience as Manager Strong planning, organizational and leadership skills Excellent understanding how to translate 2D into 3D digital models Familiar with different modelling tools ( Alias, Maya, Grasshopper… ) Excellent knowledge about the design feasibility process and the deliverables per phase Ability to think three-dimensionally with a strong emphasis on proportions and sense of form Proficient knowledge about engineering criterias and requirements Proven organisational skills and an ability to multi-task efficiently Reliable and able to work without close supervision Ability to manage and complete projects from beginning to end Good verbal and visual communication skills Proactive and self-motivated, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and international environment Able to deliver under tight time constraints Strong sense of responsibility
Tasks
- Responsible for efficient running of all CAS projects within time, costs and quality
- Headcount and ressource planning CAS (project related)
- Maintain a close synergy between stakeholders in design and design operation departments globally
- Ensure the surface quality correlates with the AVATR requirements for the relevant project phase
- Supports technical supplier evaluation and development
- Collaboration with suppliers and allocation of projects (technical agreements, purchasing)
- Supports departmental development regarding processes, methods and tools in alignment with Director Design Operations
- Assist Director Design Operations with long term resource and budget planning
- Manages issues escalation to the next level
- Has employee responsibility ( 10+ )
- Willigness to travel (domestically and internationally) as required
