Position

We are currrently looking for a Senior Accountant (m / f / d) who will be responsible for :

  • Managing technical accounting matters, including reviewing accounts and incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Performing daily accounting tasks, including month-end and year-end closing processes, and preparing account reconciliations.
  • Collaborating with external accounting service providers and independent auditors.
  • Handling correspondence with tax consultants and providing support in preparing tax declarations.
  • Addressing day-to-day queries and managing the finance email inbox.
  • Participating in external reporting to local regulatory authorities and to EIT.
  • Involvement in internal audits for EIT RawMaterials, prioritizing requests for information from local regulatory bodies, and taking follow-up actions to ensure timely and high-quality responses.
  • Supporting the department with other administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :

  • A master’s degree with a focus on economics, accounting and finance.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting at an international level, particularly in public-funded and regulated organizations, is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Proficiency in office and accounting software (particularly DATEV and excellent MS Excel skills).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in both English and German.

  • You will be employed by the EIT RawMaterials. This is a full-time job with an opportunity to work remotely.
