Sr AI Engineer

We are looking for a kickass team of entrepreneurial and technical talents who aspire to contribute to the future of AI in healthcare .

You will experience the full machine learning lifecycle of a generative model translating research into practical solutions that create real value and positively impact end users.

You will work directly with our cofounders Kathi experiencing the fastpaced environment of an earlystage tech company.

Tasks

Work in a small team on R&D as well as implementing productionready models

Conduct research on the latest generative AI models (e.g. Guided Diffusion )

Identify test and benchmark different ML methods

Implement the best method in a robust way and bring it into production with your team

Implement MLOps and DevOps pipelines for internal experimentation and production

Find workarounds for hardware limitations and challenges in efficient computing

Work with medical imaging formats like Nifti or DICOM

Navigate the development of complex solutions in a fastmoving team

Communicate with technical counterparts at partner companies

Form the foundation and build a kickass tech team with the tech cofounders

Interview potential candidates for tech openings

Requirements

• You have a degree in Computer Science or similar studies (preferably Master)
• You have 5 years of experience in AI Engineering
• You are wellversed in a wide variety of Deep Learning concepts from data preprocessing to model implementation and training
• You have experienced a full ML Lifecycle from research to productionready deployment
• First experience working with synthetic image generation and / or medical imaging AI is a plus
• You have strong coding skills in Python (esp. PyTorch TensorFlow and Pandas )
• You have set up and used MLOps and DevOps frameworks in a productive setting
• You have experience with large datasets that put the limitations of hardware to the test
• You are eager to research and learn about modern ML approaches
• You had customer contact before and are used to taking the business side into account
• You feel comfortable in the dynamic environment of a tech startup
• You are a selfstarter with the ability to work independently
• You can communicate effectively in English (German is a plus)
