Position Overview : Senior AWS Architect
A key client of ours is seeking a highly skilled AWS Architect to design and implement AWS-based solutions for a project.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services, architecture, and best practices to further provide knowledge and skills contributing to the clients business needs.
A core focus on scalability, reliability and cost efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Architect, design, and implement AWS-based solutions according to client requirements and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop cloud architecture and migration strategies, including assessing existing infrastructures and recommending AWS-based solutions.
- Lead the implementation and deployment of AWS services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Proven experience as an AWS Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPNs, VPCs, Direct Connect, and AWS Firewall.
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate are a plus.
Requirements :
- Demonstrated expertise in AWS based cloud solutions.
- Problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Prior project experience with CDK, Terraform, Python or TypeScript.
- Management of serverless services, containers or Kubernetes.
- Understanding customer needs and the ability to translate them into strategic and operational solutions.
- Knowledge of common operating systems such as Linux and Microsoft Windows
