For one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior PHP Developer with a perspective to transition into C# / .NET (m / f / d), working remotely from Germany.

As a Senior PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing existing PHP applications in the fields of intensive care and anesthesia. Your role includes integrating interfaces to external systems and programming MSSQL databases. Collaborating closely with product management, testing, and UI / UX designers within a Scrum team, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our web-based, modular solutions. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your PHP expertise while progressively advancing towards .NET / C# development.

Accountabilities :

  • Develop and optimize existing PHP applications for intensive care and anesthesia.
  • Integrate interfaces with external systems.
  • Program and maintain MSSQL databases.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, testing, and UI / UX designers in a cross-location Scrum team.
  • Actively participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Support the transition towards .NET / C#-based solutions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, completed training as an IT specialist, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of solid experience as a PHP developer in a client-server environment.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns, MVC, and databases (MSSQL).
  • Experience with web frameworks (e.g., Vue.js) and an interest in C# programming.
  • Assertive team player with a strong quality awareness.
  • Proficient in German, both written and spoken.
