Field Service Engineer Feeding and Dosing
Our cement site service business is growing. For this reason, we are seeking one new employee as a field service engineer within our feeding and dosing products.
As a field service engineer, you will be responsible for performing installation, commissioning and troubleshooting primarily within our feeding and dosing FLSmidth Pfister products.
About the role
You can anticipate up to +180 travel days per year, with customer sites as your primary workplace. You will be employed in Augsburg, Germany, but you can travel directly from your home location in Germany.
The job durations are typically ranging from few days to few weeks. The assignments are globally, however with most of the jobs executed within Europe.
You will be part of our specialized team of field engineers and support our customers all over the world. At site you are the direct contact person for the customer.
Your responsibilities
Independent work at cement plants, and similar industries, all around the world.
Commissioning, maintenance, upgrading and troubleshooting of our feeding and dosing equipment.
Training of customers at site or in our workshop.
Assembly check, calibration, and approval of equipment.
Engage with customer to perform remote support as well as generating sales leads and opportunities.
What you bring
Electrical education for instance within electronics and instrumentation or Electromechanics.
Good mechanical knowledge and skills.
Ability to explain and discuss technical matters with clients.
Speak and write English effortlessly (German language skills are of benefit).
Willingness to travel and a high degree of flexibility as the job is dynamic with often short notice travels and rapid changes.
Experience with weighing, feeding and dosing equipment in the cement industry is a benefit.
Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley and / or Beckhoff PLC is a benefit.
