Job Description

The focus of this position as Software Developer is the development and maintenance of the cloud infrastructure for TOMRA’s sensor-based sorting and analysis systems including internal and customer-facing web portals.

Develop and maintain backend services using C#
Ensure consistency and maintainability via IaC
Ensure seamless integration with Microsoft Azure services and custom APIs to external services like ERP and fleet management systems
Transition services to cloud-native environments
Manage and optimize databases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor / Master Software Development or 2+ years of professional experience in Cloud Development, with a focus on Azure

Proficiency in C# / ASP.NET

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services including Azure DevOps

Experience with database integration (SQL, EF,…)

Proficiency in working with Container Engine technologies

Basic knowledge and understanding of frontend development in Typescript

Knowledge about cloud-native services via Kubernetes is a bonus

Good English skills spoken and written

Basic knowledge of German and willingness to learn is a plus
