Transmission / Reducer Development Engineer (f/m/d)

Your profile

• University degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or Mathematics/Physics.

• 3+ years experience in transmission/reducer.
• Experience in Clutch and Gear shift design.

• Experience in reducer component (gear/shaft/bearings) development with suppliers.

• Experience in reducer housing and cover with aluminium die-casting process.

• Experience in reducer NVH analysis is a plus.

• Strong self-management skills and high flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

• Team player and excellent analytical skills.

• Very Good Communication Skills in English.

Your tasks

As a Transmission / Reducer Development Engineer, you will be in charge of:

• Developing gear and shaft manufacturing process.

• Developing reducer or transmission housing and cover.

• Designing gear micro geometry (gear tooth shape).

• Creating 2D drawings, and 3D models of gear components to develop with suppliers.

• Procuring reducer components (gear, shaft, bearings) from Europe-based suppliers.

• Designing actuator and shift mechanism.
• Collaborating with the engineering company.
• Researching Reducer market trends in Europe.
