Job Description :

As the Import / Export Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and optimising our international shipping processes. You will lead a team of logistics professionals, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and fostering efficient and cost-effective import / export operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Team Leadership : Supervise and mentor the import / export team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Logistics Management : Oversee the entire import / export process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
• Compliance : Ensure all import / export activities comply with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
• Documentation : Manage and verify all necessary documentation for international shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin.
• Vendor Relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with international vendors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Cost Control : Monitor and manage logistics costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Problem Solving : Address and resolve any issues or delays in the import / export process, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Reporting : Generate detailed reports on import / export activities, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
