Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for business development and market expansion? We are looking for a Business Line Developer to take ownership of the LCHS Business Line (BL) within our Customer Service Center (CSC) in Germany & Austria. In this key role, you will spearhead the growth of new markets and customer segments in close collaboration with the respective Division.
This position can be based anywhere in Germany or Austria.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- ‘White Spot’ analysis to determine new opportunities
- Understand the competition and agree on how to win / defend market share
- Create or further enhance the RtM strategy and ensure the correct profile for the business line LCHS
- Develop and execute a detailed and executable short and long term strategy
- Commercial ‘ownership’ of the E2E GM for the BL LCHS
- Accountable to develop and execute the commercial and sales excellence process
- Responsible for all Value Selling initiatives
- Spend time with end users and customers to gather product insights for both technical and commercial aspects
- Ensure that LCHS products are developed with local requirements in mind
- Strong collaboration with division product management
- Collect local feedback and provide it to division product management
- Ensure product documentation is available in local language
- Support employee, dealer and customer training facilitation
- Understand all competitors within the CSC, including strengths, weakness and strategic plans
- Determine solutions for new segments and for sustainability requirements and strategy
- Lead the ‘product technical expert’ for LCHS
- Accountable for customer and dealer master data
- Ensure effective and efficient stakeholder management especially in collaboration with the respective division
- Give relevant strategic inputs by providing market insight and relevant data analytics
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.Track record of managing sales and driving sales growth10+ years of relevant business / product experience (e.g truck industry or load handling equipment) related to salesExperience in dealer managementAbility to work in an international business environment / in a matrix organizationProven ability to drive and develop equipment business sales and profitabilityStrong business mind-set with financial skillsRelevant product knowledgeResults and achievement driven and eager to create long term relationshipsHigh integrity and excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to analyze problems / issues from various angles and create structureExperience in working with SalesforceFluent in English and GermanDriver’s licenseYou will be part of
