Security Responsible in Projects (m / w / d)

Are you passionate about cybersecurity in industrial projects? As a Security Responsible in Projects (SRiP) at our costumer Siemens AG, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations , industry standards, and customer-specific security requirements. You will act as the main point of contact for security topics , guiding projects through the necessary security activities. If you have experience in cybersecurity, IT / OT architectures, and industrial automation systems , we look forward to your application!

• Guide projects through security-related activities as defined in the respective processes
• Evaluate security requirements and initiate necessary measures to ensure compliance
• Act as a liaison between the project execution team and the customer for security topics
• Communicate Siemens Energy's security strategy for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS)
• Support and advise Project Managers who also hold SRiP responsibilities
• Report functionally to the Project Manager of the respective Project
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Ph.D. in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Cybernetics, Electronics , or a related field
• Extensive knowledge of industrial control systems , IT / OT architectures, and network engineering
• Experience with embedded systems and real-time control systems
• Programming skills in C, C++, Python, or Bash scripting
• Understanding of electrical systems; knowledge of building automation systems or HVDC converter stations is a plus
• Familiarity with Site Security Infrastructure (CCTV, access control, etc.)
• Significant experience in engineering and project execution
• Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GSEC, CISSP, CISM, GICSP) are an advantage
• Experience with security standards (IEC 62443, ISO 27000, NERC CIP, NIS2, etc.) is beneficial
• Fluent English skills (spoken and written) , German is a plus
