Investment Banking Analyst

Our client, a distinguished boutique investment bank, is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst to join their Healthcare Team in Frankfurt.

Position Overview : As an Investment Banking Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Healthcare Team in executing M&A transactions, conducting financial analysis, and developing strategic recommendations for clients within the healthcare sector.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in investment banking, corporate finance, and M&A, with a keen interest and ideally some experience in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including conducting financial analysis, building financial models, and preparing presentation materials.
• Conduct industry research and analysis to identify market trends, potential investment opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the healthcare sector.
• Collaborate closely with senior team members to develop strategic recommendations and presentations for clients.
• Support due diligence efforts by coordinating with various stakeholders, conducting data analysis, and preparing documentation.
• Actively participate in client meetings, presentations, and pitches, demonstrating a deep understanding of the healthcare industry and market dynamics.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Native fluency in German and proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
• 1-2 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
• Previous exposure to the healthcare sector is highly desirable, though not required.
